Glen Eagles Country Club has a scale that's different from the larger Dallas venues — more intimate, more residential in feeling, more like someone's home that happens to have a ballroom. Avery and Michael chose it because they wanted a wedding that felt personal, not performed.

The feature film runs the length it needs to. There's a ceremony that happened outside in July heat and was better for it — the light was extraordinary, even if the conditions weren't. There's a dinner that felt like a dinner with people they actually love. There's dancing that needed no encouragement.
